Grappling with the 'Uncomfortable'

If you haven't heard, All Peoples Church San Diego is going to be studying the book of Romans this Fall of 2012. Haven't read Romans yet? Here's some inspiration:

Martin Luther wrote that for him, Romans was a "gateway to heaven." John Wesley cites Romans as the Scripture that led him to his salvation experience, stating that his heart was "strangely warmed" while reading. And John Calvin called Romans the most "hidden treasure of all Scripture."

Romans is most certainly a wonderful section of the New Testament. The truth it presents is also frank, challenging, and well...uncomfortable.

This blog will host a 32 day series starting on 9/3/2012 that will serve as a chapter-by-chapter study through the book of Romans. We hope that this will be a helpful resource to you as you grapple with the uncomfortable, yet life-changing truths found in this book!
