Day 6: Sat June 8

Today's FaceTime Tip:

Jude 20: "But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and xpraying in the Holy Spirit..." Part of what you are doing each day in Facetime is building up yourself in faith so that God can use you the rest of the day. Let today's Facetime be a Faith-Build for you!

Worship

Today let's worship by declaring some of the attributes of God together as our Father.

Here is a selection of Scriptures to reflect upon as you worship and thank God for being your Father:
  • Psalm 139
  • Isaiah 49:14-16
  • Psalm 27:10
  • Jeremiah 29:11
  • Isaiah 40:11
Prayer:

Each day this week we will be praying for our SELF, our SPHERE, and the NATIONS of the world.

SELF: A few days ago we prayed the Lord's Prayer. Let's do that again today. Pray Matthew 6:9 over yourself (link here). Pray that God would..
  • Be your Father
  • Bring His Kingdom into your life today
  • Provide for your needs
  • Forgive you sins
  • Help you forgive others
  • Lead you not into temptation
  • Protect you from evil

SPHERE:

Pray for your immediate family and your coworkers using the prayer models we explored on previous days.

Consider this Scripture: "And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live yon all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us..."(Acts 17).

God knows where you live!

As you pray for people in your daily life, spend some time praying for your physical neighbors. Ask God for a divine appointment through which you will be able to build relationship with them.

NATIONS:
  • Today pray for the nation of Mexico, our nearest neighbor. Ask God to make Mexico a prosperous nation.
Word:

If you have been journeying through the Scriptures with us this week then you have FINISHED the book of James!

For next two days we will be reading the Proverbs.

Read Proverbs 8 today. (Proverbs 8 - Click Here)

Answer these questions while you are reading:
  1. What does this passage teach me about God
  2. What does this teach me about myself and my world today?
  3. How do I need to obey this Scripture today?
