Day 4: Thurs June 6

Today's FaceTime Tip:

Proverbs 18:21 - "Life and death are in the power of the tongue." Although God hears are non-verbal prayers, there is a power to speaking out prayers and declarations over our lives. Get verbal in your Facetime today!

Prayer:

Each day this week we will be praying for our SELF, our SPHERE, and the NATIONS of the world.

SELF: Today Pray Psalm 23 over yourself (link here).  As you pray, picture Jesus leading you as the Good Shepherd. Read the words aloud. After praying, spend some time silently waiting on God and asking Him to lead you today.

SPHERE:  Let's continue to be praying for the people in our lives today.

First, pray the words and promises that you received yesterday pertaining to your immediate family.

Second, yesterday we began praying for a VIP person in our life that we are believing to know Jesus. Here are some things you can be praying for that person:
  • Conviction of Sin (Acts 2:37-38)
  • An open heart (Acts 16:14)
  • For God to draw them (John 6:44)
  • For miracles and the power of God (John 14, Acts 3)

NATIONS:
  • Pray for the nation of America today. Ask God to bless churches all over our nation and to empower believers to share the Gospel.
Word:

As we journey through the Bible this week we are going to be reading the book of James.

Read James 4 today. (James 4 - Click Here)

Answer these questions while you are reading:
  1. What does this passage teach me about God
  2. What does this teach me about myself and my world today?
  3. How do I need to obey this Scripture today?
